At Competitive Relocation Services, we understand moving takes proper preparation and planning. From the first phone call to the last box off the truck, we're there. Not all moving companies will take the time to answer all your questions truthfully like Competitive Relocation Services will.

Below are a few of the most frequently asked questions:

Q: How do I choose a moving company?

1. There is the BBB which regulates complaints between business' and consumer. You can look here for any complaints the Moving Company may have.
2. Ask around. See what moving company your friends, co-workers or family have used. Find out how their moving experience was, and what they liked and disliked and what they would do different next time.
3. The F.M.C.S.A. regulates and reports all license, permit and insurance held by the moving company.

Q: RATES. How will I be charged?

LOCAL - You will be charged a flat hourly rate depending on how many movers and trucks are needed.
LONG-DISTANCE - You will be charged by weight and mileage.

Q: Minimum Hours (local moves only):

Competitive Relocation Services has a three hour minimum. This means you will be charged for no less than three hours of the hourly rate.

Q: Travel Time:

Travel time starts when the truck leaves the warehouse and stops when the truck arrives at you origin location. Then starts again from your destination location and back to our warehouse.

Q: Hidden Fees:

The only fees you will be charged is the hourly rate and minimum and the travel time. If you need packing services or materials that would also be an additional fee.

Q: Estimates:

When it comes to our estimates we are as accurate as possible. We understand a lower price may sound better, but if it "sounds too good to be true" it probably is. Unfortunately, a lot of moving companies find themselves low balling the estimate to sell a job. Then when you, the customer, get the final bill it may leave you with a lot of questions and downright mad.
